At its core, FoundHer is a youth-led initiative FoundHer is a youth-led initiative that works to make entrepreneurship more accessible to women from underserved communities in India. The idea grew from noticing how uneven development can be. Even as the country progresses, many women with talent and drive still lack the training, guidance, or networks needed to begin their own ventures. To bridge this gap, FoundHer offers directly-beneficial resources like an entrepreneurship handbook and activity-based workshops that introduce participants to the basics of business, financial planning, and tips on launching their very own micro-enterprises.
After the training phase, we also plan to raise seed funding through a community-driven fundraiser, allowing selected women to pilot small business ideas of their own. Alongside this, one of FoundHer's main goals is to document real stories through interviews with women entrepreneurs and builds a corporate pledge network to connect participants with organizations willing to support or onboard women-led enterprises.
Our mission is simple: give women the tools, confidence, and opportunities, so they can truly find themselves and their own futures.
